Set in an art gallery, the clothing by Malan Brenton became art itself. Each model was positioned atop a black pedestal, displaying the clothing in the same manner the art was being displayed in. Russian and Asian influences abounded in the color choice with red, black, gold, brown and cream.
The cuts were tailored and very form fitting to the body. Silk was in abundance. Silk organza, silk taffeta and silk charmeuse were all widely used.Sheer, lace, feathers and gloves popped up once again and accented each piece respectively.
