Her use of volume made designer Graca Ottoni's Spring collection for Acquastudio a standout hit on June 7th at Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week.
Clothing in out of this world shapes floated down the runway. A gown was assembled from 4-inch strips of textured white chiffon looped above and below a clear plastic belt. A fully beaded beige bubble dress continued the theme. A cream colored off the shoulder dress had delicate spirals of structured chiffon that resembled smooth ringlets. The volume theme was brought to the models hair in forms of concentrated buns that sat forward on their face held together with a petite metal cage. The position on their head gave it a halo effect. The angelic hue dresses had simple matching heels. These space age shapes are very editorial and I can see them gracing the pages of upcoming magazines in the near future.
