Naomi Campbell & Estelle view Mortelle Series

Posted by fashionentrepreneurreport On Thursday, February 12, 2009

What better day to talk about murders than on Friday the 13th? A private showing of The Mortelle Series was showcased at the Ion Studio in Soho. Artist Skye Nicolas, in collaboration with graphic artist Marlon Richards, are the artists behind the creations. Viewing the portraits in person was not as morbid as I thought it sounded.
It may have been Friday the 13th, but there was no gloom and doom in the room. Wine flowed freely as the posh crowd business moguls of tribecca and owners of well established galleries in Soho mingled the night away. Estelle came by the gallery to take a peak at exactly what a murdered model looks like and Naomi Campbell stopped by to see the Art. Even in death, a beautiful person is still beautiful. The After-Party took place at Bijoux with Mickey Rourke being in attendance.
