Pucci and Ciprani, Miami

Posted by fashionentrepreneurreport On Thursday, February 12, 2009

Two Italian Classics, Pucci and Cipriani came together this Friday to celebrate Pucci’s their spring collection.  Models strolled around the Italian garden while guests grazed on quintessential Cipriani pasta, proscuitto and bellinis.
This is Matthew Williamson’s last collection for the brand before Peter Dundas (of Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli and Christian Lacroix(an alumni of Pucci himself) takes the helm.  Beachy favorites were at the fore front of the collection touching Miami’s seaside customers hearts right before Valentine’s Day.  Stand-outs were the long maxi-dresses which brought back the floral motif that Emilio Pucci was so famous for even before the graphic art deco came into play.
