A packed house navigated through the paintings, mannequins film screens and live model instillations at the Furio unveiling of their Fall/Winter 2010 collection this evening.
In a series where texture and pops of color stood out, independent clothing label Furio (created by designers Catherine Furio and Parker Mannis) did not disappoint. Their avant-guarde style, experimentation in shapes and collaboration with multi-medium artists help encapsulate their entire vision.
Stand-out pieces were the mini dresses with spider-web type appliqués and the slouchy tees with woven center panels.
There will definitely be more to come from this innovative duo.
