Paris Fashion Week Fall 2010: Giles

Posted by fashionentrepreneurreport On Wednesday, March 03, 2010
Merging away from his cartoon exuberance and back to his sleek subtly sexy woman-like collection.  The 50’s inspiration returned, but this was more of a Mad Men hot vixen instead of the Doris Day reference of sickeningly sweet homemaker, no Giles’ girl was all about the hourglass silhouette and when the fuller skirts disappeared, body hugging pencil types replaced them, repeating the theme look after look.  Anytime there was a trouser it was by way of the “petal pusher.”  Luxe shearling accents and fur bags upped the vixen quotient as did the bouffants sported by some of fashions most “expensive” models.
