New York Fashion Week Fall 2010: Timo Weiland

Posted by fashionentrepreneurreport On Monday, February 15, 2010
Set amongst a short video that had a child serial killer hacking up party goers to re-create her mother’s dead body, the Timo Weiland show seemed like it may be twisted, however pretty 40’s inspired menswear (heavy on the chunky knits, cowl necks and a velvet coat thrown in for good measure, all in taupe greys or jewel tones) and womenswear (pretty chunky cardigans, skinny pants and cut out skirts) with a collegiate edge beconed the audience to take a closer look.  The crowd seemed pleased as cameras clicked away while the models stood on podiums for a collection labeled “Pagentry and Ceremonial Splendor.” If pageantry it is the judges ruling will be positive.
