Ethnic Fashion PrintsSpring and summer breeds the element of travel and although the usual suspects produced their mix and match exotic textiles, newcomers to the trend came out to represent.  It was all about the tribal print and rosy cheeks at Diane Von Furstenburg.  Dries Van Noten used his trademark ethnic fabrics to the literal sense with sarongs.  Marni turned out a traveling pirate of sorts with the scarf head wraps and striped leggings, Kenzo gave us sexy mix and match patterns with obi belts.  Channeling his Latin flavor, Oscar de la Renta used gilded South American prints.  The Rodarte sisters Mulleavy inter-mingled their traditional webbed gothic fair with tribal fabrics and tattoos.  Mixing traditional ikat prints done on simple polo collared shirt dresses with the actual fringy-tasseled collage of bags, Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuittonexemplified the traveler best.
