Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010: Mara Mac

Posted by fashionentrepreneurreport On Tuesday, June 09, 2009

Mara Mac Rio de Janeiro Mara Mac presented a collection that was both simple and elegant on June 7th.
With a closer look at all the clothing, a hidden element popped out of each creation.  Indigo loose fitting modal ankle length jumpsuits gently hung over the models shoulders, with a cream batik half circle that extended from the underarm to the hip. As the models walked out in unison in the same outfit, their half circles matched up to make it appear as if a full moon was floating down the runway.  An ivory loose fitting silk shirt had marks of gray on it and when one looked closer, it could be seen that it was a picture of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.  Steel gray linen trench coats had pops of highlighter yellow peaking out of the collar and cuffs.  The same yellow was also seen in the cropped high-waisted cotton twill pants. The looks were matched with beachy tong sandals of the same hues echoing the relaxed beachy vibe.
