ANK by Mirla Sabino presented a collection heavy on pattern and inspired by the Indians of San Blas Islands in Panama.

Braided belts, multi colored stones and scalloped edges conjured up notions of the sea, but the prints didn’t seem the right place for the turbans (both on the head and created from the hair) nor did the color palette of coral, fuschia and blue.  All in all a pretty show, but not too much unique inspiration.
