It started off to be all about angles and a mixture of texture at the Bernard Chandran Fall 2010 show. Cocktail dresses with bold shoulders and sheer panels throughout the back. Then interesting Japanese elements were applied, like square plackets as belt, bibbed neckpieces and beautiful corded belts that looped like a nautical obi. The strongest elements of the show came in sequined evening wear that was accompanied with maxi, humongous oversized clutches. We could have done without the feathers, but all is forgiven as the theme continued well throughout tying the show together.
