From the roses and skulls on the invite to the first glimmering piece that hit the runway we knew we were in for a treat at the Doii Paris AW 2011 show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. In her premiere presentation in London, reference to the Russian fairytale Babushka was seen with ornate floral details and heavily sequined dresses. Each piece read like a story-book page and instead of shooting runway, an up-close and personal look during the exhibition was a must. Craftsmanship at is best, yet realistic glimpse of something that could actually be worn in public, fairytale princess or not…
