In a collection entitled Egyptology, Bryce Aime show at On/Off Fall 2010 was more of a mix of architectural pin-tucking and strong armor-like shoulders in shrouded caplets rather than a full on costumey theme. The strength lied also in patterned jersey jumpsuits that lay under the more angular pieces in a palette of purples, burgundies and blacks. The “turban” was also a nice touch as it read more like a pretty hair band and solidified the theme in a saleable way.
