Menswear inspiration again at Vera Wang’s Fall 2010 show. Opening with tuxedo styles done in Wang’s perfect blend of understated luxury adding in organza and mohair details to give it a more Victorian edge and even borderline “Twilight” with the dark textured moodiness of it all. The majority of the collection was black white and grey with hints of midnight blue and silver. And as usual the weightlessness of the layers made the models look like they were floating down the runway which made the romantic ballerina-esque organza dresses at the end perfect for the young Hollywood set that are her consistent fans.
