A digital print revolution has been hitting London Fashion Week for a few seasons, and Mary Katrantzou’s Spring 2010 collection rode the top of that wave. Producing computer manipulations of blown glass pieces gave way to spiraling patterns that had an almost a surrealistic art piece nuance more than a dress, but as soon as the garment walked, the audience was clear that these pieces were more than wearable. To compliment the entire collection Katrantzou asked Peter Layton to create neckpieces and cuffs of blown glass.
