With pop-art graphics and muted sorbets as the color palette, Alberta Ferretti unveiled her Philosophy collection in a warehouse packed with fashion’s elite.
Guests were able to casually mingle with Ferretti as she calmly waiting for the runway presentation to begin. Taking her requisite craft-detailing to a different level, the Philosophy line produced flirty little dresses with lips, eyes and butterflies, appliquéd onto the sheer chiffon. Almost like a day at the sun blasted beach, the silhouettes were relaxed jackets and tank dresses, a couple of shorts in what can be best described as a faded awning stripe and handbags that looked like sand pails. Fresh, clean, modern, light and pretty but with a wink and a nod that only Ferretti can do.
