Scott Sternberg took us to the sea today with his Spring/Summer 2010 presentation. The shrunken blazers were all still there, as were the preppy mini skirts and nautical color palette that makes Boy Band of Outsiders fans in need of every newly done classic he creates.
Sternberg says his influence was Malibu in the 70’s but this collection can easily be referenced to Montauk or Newport right now.
Men’s stand-outs were the suspenders and the simple shore-line tie-dyed button down. For women, it is hard to find a better more current cutting trench. The shoes were just an added bonus with navy and white stripped preppy gladiators and bandage-wrapped mules.
