Lovely jersey fabrics in gorgeous air dyed hues of greens, greys, purples and oranges. The air dying process was Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra’s foray into green designs.
Shoulders were reminiscent of Mildred Pierce without being costume-y (there was strength in a modern sophisticated way). Each garment (all roughly cocktail length dresses) beautifully draped giving them the carefree air of a Halston in his heyday, some with eye-catchingly ornate jeweled pieces.
