Heavy in leather and rockstar appeal, Elise Øverland made her runway debut to a throng of fans.
Leather pencil skirts, leather shorts and leather dresses were like bookends on a collection that inserted effervescent little polka dots and punches of pomegranate. Øverland knows that just because it’s spring some women don’t want to deck themselves out in floral frocks and pink cheeks, so she answers to the calling of the sleek hip minimalistic set, and drapes them in buttery silhouettes that can work long before it hits 60 degrees in Manhattan.
