When editors, trend predictors or the general consumer consultant say that in this economy people are going back to basics, the first thing they should take a look at is Joanna Sykes. For her Spring 2010 collection, Sykes, presented her perfect collection at the Portico Rooms of Somerset House. Complete with slouchy suits and buttery leather each piece was an homage to the real women that the designer clearly knows how to dress. The shorts with blazers in soft washes of powder blue, black and nude were our favorites.
