Jill Stuart must have gone backstage, and while other designers were channeling Almost Famous’ Penny Lane with their floaty aprons and swiss dot, Stuart turned up the amp a little bit to reveal a collection that was a whole lot of rock and roll.
Short, tight and bright was the best way to describe her 2010 Spring collection, with sheer mesh insets and big shoulderpads to boot. A diversion from her usual flirty frocks, this go around leaves her consumer playing that part of the vixen instead of the muse.
