With her new line of leather handbags, 442 McAdam, Sarah Shell highlighted the value of having both versatility and elegance in a bag.“I’ve always mixed bohemian with vintage, and with this line I wanted to bring added elegance to that. The biggest inspiration was when I was in Eastern Europe and I saw a lot of girls riding bicycles, and they looked so elegant with their long-strapped handbags. That really inspired me.”
Sass and the desire to be noticed seemed to be the focus of the collection, but the fight over the catwalk (although very similar to an FCUK ad) was a welcome bit of entertainment during Alberta Fashion Week.
