House of Nonie showed off nature inspired prints reflective of her spirituality. With many contrasting designs and a lot of ethnic tradition Rahal-Kharey developed multiple themes at Alberta Fashion Week.
Both of Rahal-Kharey’s parents worked as manufacturers while she was growing up, giving her the opportunity to learn about the clothing business from an early age. After receiving a degree in engineering, she realized that her lifelong dream to be a designer was still strong in her heart, and she decided to pursue it soon after.
Having been designing her whole life, the opportunity to take part in the first semi-annual Alberta Fashion Week in her hometown was thrilling for Rahal-Kharey.
