Cindy Renee Mathieu’s collection, Sodaliscious, of ornate and colorful gowns was a crowd pleaser on the last evening of Alberta Fashion Week. “This collection was inspired by a bouquet of flowers that I received as a gift at another show. The bouquet was really colourful and every flower stood out. I wanted this line to focus on colours that catch the eye.”
Mathieu graduated from the International Academy of Art and Design in 2002, and then went on to start Sodalicious—a Haute Couture line that has outfitted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Jennifer Love Hewitt. Mathieu strives to create designs that put an emphasis on individuality.
