A touch of forties femme with a little of that modern girl edge hit the runway at Véronique Leroy for Spring 2010. Paris Fashion Week, thus far has not been as feminine as the romantic viewing in Milan, but Leroy added a much needed mix of techie textiles that had plenty of depth (the jackets looked almost burlap and the dresses had almost a waxed shine from the seats) and completed the collection with classic pencil skirts and simple ruched dresses that will make the collection easily saleable.
