Adejoké Taiwo’s collection of African inspired prints were pretty and saleable for Spring 2010, after all who doesn’t want a cute colorful dress with loads of butterflies or lotus flowers after a long hard winter. It was the logo infused leggings, ruched jersey skirts and halter tops where the collection lost focus. Like two separate collections heading down the runway each had viability, but together there was not enough strength in the story line to get Taiwo’s true vision for spring.
